Hi, I’m Jackie Aston.

I’m a licensed psychotherapist, coach, and co-host of the Differentiated Love & Sex podcast, and I’m deeply passionate about helping people create healthier, more meaningful relationships—with others and with themselves.

For over a decade, I’ve worked with individuals, couples, and working professionals navigating relationship challenges, anxiety, intimacy concerns, and personal growth. My clinical approach is grounded in differentiation, which means helping clients develop a stronger sense of self while staying emotionally connected to the people they love. I believe that while the work of maturing, tolerating discomfort, and becoming more differentiated can be challenging, it is also profoundly transformative. Watching clients step into fuller, brighter, more authentic lives is one of the most rewarding and awe-inspiring parts of my work.

Outside of my clinical work, I’m a wife and mom to two daughters—roles that fill my life with a lot of joy (and plenty of real-life learning). My husband and I are proud of the relationship work that we have done together, and while it hasn’t always been easy or picture-perfect, it’s been incredibly worthwhile. It’s had a ripple effect on our entire family—and that’s been one of the most meaningful parts.

I’m a big fan of traveling, soaking up warm weather outdoors, and watercolor painting—little things that help me recharge, tap into creativity, and stay connected to joy. I love a good laugh and finding humor in the everyday moments.

Whether in therapy, coaching, or through my podcast, I feel inspired by people as they do the courageous work of growth. There is something extraordinary about seeing people become more fully themselves, and I remain continually awed by the resilience and possibility that process reveals.
